SPEECH DELIVERED 
Prof. Chair, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahmud Bawmiah, the running mate of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Special guests of honour, All Dignitaries present, Outgoing Executives, Incoming Executives, Ladies and Gentlemen, All protocols observed.
I am highly enthused for this opportunity given me.
Prof. Chair, with your permission I would like to recite MH578.
A CHARGE TO KEEP
A charge to keep I have,a God to glorify, a never
Dying soul to save and fit us for the sky.
To serve the present age, my calling to fulfill
O may it all my powers engaged, to do my master?s will.
Help me to watch and pray, and on thyself rely
Assured if my trust betray,I shall forever die
These simply imply that we have a charge to keep, a responsibility to ensure victory 2016 through TESCON-UCC activism.
Prof. Chair we would like to take this opportunity to say kudos to the outgoing executives and the patrons for their outstanding performance despite all the problems and challenges they went through, last academic year. We extend our profound gratitude to Dr. Nana Ato Arthur, Kenedy Agyapong and all regional executives whose contributions have made TESCON UCC what is it today and more importantly, facilitating the visit of our flag bearer may God richly bless you all for your support. I am particularly grateful to my mother, Mrs. Agnes Boah-Amponsah and my entire family for their unflinching support, commitment and dedication throughout my life.
Prof. Chair we had earlier spelt out my good policies to the electorates upon which they fully endorsed us as their executives and I would like to throw light on just a few of them
In addition to the sub committees that already exist we are going to set up welfare and disciplinary committeesto seek to the welfare and discipline issues of the association.
We are going to rebrand activities of TESCON-UCC by involving all members in TESCON-UCC activities.We would foster unity among the executives, the individual members and the patrons.
We are going support all programs developed by the regional and national body which is the central decision making body so that we can all work together to recapture the parliamentary seats in the central region.
We would also do our best to secure a secretariat for the association for proper administrative work of TESCON UCC and finally making TESCON a vibrant association in the country.
We are the game changers Agenda thinking outside the box. We therefore call on all members to come on board with effective decision in moving the party forward in a positive direction.
Prof. Chair, dignitaries present, I would like all to join voices to say a special thank you to nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for having a thought and feel to propose FREE SHS in his 2012 manifesto. The future is a knowledge based society with a technical know- how and this can be achieved with a well prepared young minds from the SHS level.
Furthermore, we want to assure all of you that come 2016 the story would not be the same, we would all be there ?we would be there?? either as a polling agents or as observers
We would also like to make a humble appeal to Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to reinstate the teacher trainee allowance when he comes to office come 2016 because our teacher trainees are really suffering.
Prof. Chair, I would like to conclude my speech by making the following recommendations to the dignitaries present:
First and foremost vibrant TESCON members should be actively involved in constituency, regional and national activities.
Moreover the party should groom TESCON members for future positions as said by Chairman Paul Afoko in his manifesto.
We call on the national executives to consider making TESCON members polling agents in election 2016
Finally, I wish to call on all members to come on board with effective decision in ousting the ruling government.
